Oxford Brewing Group – Taste and Swap day

The Oxford Brewing group is holding a Taste & Swap day at Kennington Village Hall on 2nd June 2007. An invitation is open to any craft brewers who can make it to Oxford that day.

People coming should bring:

  • Up to 3 bottles of each beer that they wish to share (as many types
    as they care to bring);
  • A plate of something edible to share;
  • Their family if they want to;
  • A few soft drinks if they can
  • (Optional) small cash donation to help pay for the hall rental.

It can be arranged for beer to be stored locally for a while for anyone having difficulty getting it to the venue on the day.

As space is limited and to help us plan things such as tables/chairs/glasses, please contact us to book a place.

The idea is to bring any beer you would like others to taste… could be good beer or bad beer. You may want to bring bad beers to get some advice from others about what might have gone wrong with it and how to prevent it happening again. You may want to bring good beers to show off your brewing skills, or maybe something unusual.

Kennington Village Hall’s postcode is OX1 5PG… look it up on multimap, streetmap or google maps.

By public transport, the number 35 bus goes from Oxford City Center every 15 minutes (see timetable). Radley station is a couple of miles away, and the 35 bus can also be picked up there (heading towards Oxford).
